Sittuyin is a free browser board for practice, teaching, and casual play. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the site. These terms apply across AI play, pass-and-play, and online rooms.
Service scope
This is not a rated competition server, professional coaching service, or game-record certification service. Features may change as the board is developed.
The service is provided as it stands. We do not promise uninterrupted availability on every device, browser, or network connection.
Acceptable use
Use the site lawfully. Do not harass others, disrupt rooms, impersonate players, bypass room controls, or automate high-volume requests.
Rules used by this board
Games use an 8×8 Sittuyin board. Sit-tee deployment comes first, then White makes the first moving turn. The general steps one diagonal, the elephant steps one diagonal or one forward, pawns never take a double step, and promotion to a general happens only on the far-side diagonals. Checkmate wins. A move that would stalemate is illegal.
Mode differences
Local AI games offer hints, undo, and replay. Shared-device games offer undo and replay without move suggestions. Shared online rooms synchronise accepted moves and do not offer hints or undo. They use room links or codes, not rankings or automated matchmaking.
AI and liability
All vs-AI levels search in a browser Worker. Hints use the same search as the level you selected. AI moves and hints are for practice only; they are not a promise of best play or a teaching guarantee.
You are responsible for how you share room links and for the consequences of clearing local browser data, using an unstable network, or playing on a device that cannot keep up with the service smoothly.
