Two-Player Sittuyin on One Device
Put the Screen Between You
There is an easy way to play Sittuyin face to face: sit down together, deploy on your own halves, and take turns on one shared screen. You do not need a physical set, and you do not need separate phones. One device is enough to keep the game feeling like an in-person game.
Clear turns, one shared board
White deploys first, Black follows, and then White makes the first move. Set the device between both players so each side can see the 8×8 board clearly. You can start even without a network connection.
A good way to teach
While teaching a friend, you can stop in the setup phase and explain why rooks have to stay on the back rank, or whether an elephant can get past a piece in the way. If a move was rushed, undo it and try again. It can be a serious game, or just a board you reset whenever you need to.
One board, one set of rules
Shared-device play stays on the same 8×8 board. White deploys first, then Black, and then White makes the first move. The general moves one square diagonally, and the elephant moves one square diagonally or one square forward. For a fair set, play two games and let each player take White once.
